Beyond the Tourist Trail: First-Hand Dispatches from Bujagali
Last year, I embarked on a deep, three-month journey through Uganda, choosing to live in the local village of Bujagali. In that authentic community—where even basic electricity and water were often unpredictable—I connected with countless local friends and river guides.
Living alongside them and joining in everyday, non-touristy activities, I realized the massive gap between the raw, real life of the locals and the polished facade presented to international tourists.
This blog is my way of bridging that gap. I'm sharing absolute first-hand, unfiltered travel experiences and trap-avoidance guides directly from the ground. You'll find hidden itineraries and insights that simply don't exist anywhere else online. I update this space weekly with bilingual (English and Traditional Chinese) content to help you experience the real Uganda.
